American Needle got it's roots & name starting in 1918 by importing sewing needles. Over the course of the next 3 generations it transformed into one of the largest players in baseball caps & headwear in the world.
American Needle was the first supplier to sell official baseball caps starting with the Chicago Cubs in 1946. Throughout the years they picked up the rest of the MLB and also NHL teams and have more recently started to license out and make hats with brands like Coca Cola and NASA.
